An essential sightseeing tour of Ljubljana includes a 2-hour walking tour of the city centre, visiting the major attractions in the city.

You will have a short walk to the Preseren Square followed by relaxed walking journey around downtown. First you will cross the Three Bridges and the farmer’s market. You will discover the old part of the town and enjoy its Renaissance and Baroque facades, decorated portals and vaulted atriums, squeezed between the castle hill and the Ljubljanica River.

Pride of Lipica and charm of Piran – full day tour

Visit the Lipica stud farm – home of the world renowned Lipizzaner horses, made famous by the Spanish Riding School of Vienna. The stud farm was founded in 1580 and, today, it is a jewel among the cultural and historical monuments of the Republic of Slovenia. For over four centuries, the Lipica Stud Farm has nurtured the tradition of breeding and selecting thoroughbred horses.

After Lipica we’ll continue to Slovenia’s coast line and relax in charming Piran. Piran is a typical Mediterranean town designated by a lovely St. Georges Church which rises above the town and square, named after Piran’s most famous citizen – musician Giuseppe Tartini, who made the town world-famous.
Get lost in its medieval narrow streets and houses, enjoy some free time over an exquisite seafood meal in one of the many local restaurants or cafes.

Visit the miraculous underground of Postojna Cave, one of the most prominent karst cave in the world and Predjama Castle, which is listed among the Guinnes World Records as the largest cave castle.

The guided tour of Postojna Cave will consist of a ride by a special electrical train and a walk through beautiful underground passages and chambers with spectacular drop stones, pillars, limestone curtains and other natural stone forms. The tour lasts about 90 minutes. Temperature of the cave is constant 8 degrees.

After cave visit we will continue to the idyllic village of Predjama, where you will be amazed by our fairy tale medieval Predjama Castle, famous for its dramatic setting in the gaping mouth of a cavern halfway up a hillside. Learn about the legend of the knight Erasmus – ‘Slovenian Robin Hood’, and return back to Ljubljana in early afternoon.
